Ethan is a visionary and performance-driven professional with extensive experience in managing all facets of global marketing operations. He has a somewhat unique background that spans three decades and has encompassed working with Fortune 100 companies as well as being the CEO of ILLUSIO, an AR/VR SaaS-based technology firm for the past seven years.
Prior to ILLUSIO, Ethan was a global communications executive specializing in reputation and brand management for both professional services and consumer oriented companies. He has represented dozens of Fortune 500 companies spanning more than 20 years in traditional and multimedia advertising and strategic communications in U.S. and international markets.
The majority of his career has been with the Publicis Group, the world’s second largest communications company, where he served as the Managing Director of the Los Angeles office. During his tenure he serviced clients in industries from professional sports and gaming to consumer goods to gas and electric generation. His emphasis was on business development, crisis and campaign management, communications strategies based on market trends and public opinion analysis, as well as project research and development.
Ethan was also a global marketing executive for the two largest executive recruiting corporations, Korn/Ferry International and Heidrick & Struggles. His focus has always been on communications and global growth. In this capacity he has managed campaigns in more than 30 countries and 20 languages.
Ethan began college at the American College of Switzerland, later transferring and earning his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University with a BA in Advertising. He also holds an MBA in International Business from Pepperdine University.
