Our Journey with Minded

In 2020 the Co-Founders of Minded raised their first million to reimagine the future of psychiatry. David Ronick, co-founder of Stash, Gaspard de Dreuzy, co-founder of Pager, and Dr. Chris Dennis, multi-state licensed psychiatrist, saw a need for a new approach that would make mental healthcare affordable and accessible with or without insurance. Ready to scale, they turned to us to find their Head of Growth and an incredible partnership was born.

In the last two years, we have worked with Minded’s executive team to place five leaders across Engineering, Product and Marketing from companies like Capsule, Athletic Greens and Conde Nast. In February 2022, Minded announced a $25M seed round to continue their impactful work, expand its geographic presence and introduce new and innovative treatment offerings.

Meet the Co-Founder & CEO of Minded

David Ronick, the Co-Founder and CEO of Minded is on a mission to eliminate the stigma around mental healthcare. An experienced entrepreneur who most recently co-founded Stash, a consumer app for personal finance, which he led as CEO and grew to over 7 million users. In our two years supporting David, we have come to know him as one of the most passionate CEO’s around, fully dedicated to leveling the playing field by providing affordable, judgment-free care because he understands the benefits first hand.

“I’m a better founder, husband and father with #ALittleHelpFromMyMeds,” said David in a 2022 press release. “Due to stigma, I waited years to seek treatment—and even longer to tell people about it. But sharing my story has convinced many people I know to get help, which is exactly why we’re starting this initiative.”
