As the department head for Marketing, you will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with technology, product, operations teams to grow Skylight across multiple product lines. We make consumer products, like Skylight Frame and Skylight Calendar, that are used and loved by hundreds of thousands of families across the country. We’re coming in from a profitable 2021 and on target to hit $100MM in 2022. Role Responsibilities:

This is a full-time position with big responsibilities and growth opportunities. This is a great role for an entrepreneurial and performance-driven marketer who has a proven track record of growing DTC brands and leading a team. You will:

  • Own the growth strategy: Lead internal teams and agencies to scale growth and profitability across our line of products. Identify, experiment, and implement new initiatives to boost new customer acquisition. Consistently analyze and refine new and existing campaigns to drive growth.
  • Forecast orders & growth: Work closely with the finance and operations teams to build growth and sales forecasts. Create marketing budgets that tie into our financial goals.
  • Build the marketing plan and channel mix: Lead the channel strategy and ongoing management across the marketing mix including (but not limited to) Paid Social, TV/Streaming, Audio, SEM, SEO, Display, Print, Influencers and Affiliate.
  • Oversee creative output: Guide and inform the creative team to develop and optimize creative assets with breakthrough performance. Ensure we’re building a constant, high-output creative testing pipeline.
  • Own the analytics: Ensure all tactics are measurable and own the reporting and analysis of your initiatives. You will instill a rigorous analytical mindset in your team, and set, measure and continuously optimize key metrics – CPA/CAC, ROAS, Contribution. Use and refine marketing attribution capabilities including media mix modeling and multi-touch attribution.
  • Lead the team: Set the direction, define OKRs and goals, and guide the team towards achieving them. You will ensure the happiness, productivity and growth of the marketing team.

Job requirements:

  • 10+ years of growth marketing experience.
  • Must have significant e-commerce experience in a strategic marketing role.
  • Background in consumer electronics is a plus.
  • Expertise in the following channels: Paid Social, TV, Audio, Print, Search Engine Marketing,
  • Search Engine Optimization, Affiliates and Amazon.
  • Experience actively managing a full media budget.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related business field.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Pragmatic problem solver. Comfortable with leading and doing. Interest in looking outside the existing toolbox – comfortable evolving with the ever-changing landscape.
  • Curious: A leader with a passion to test and win. You’re always looking for the next needle-moving channel or approach.
  • Both analytical and creative.
