Homeaglow is a marketplace that connects households with home service providers. They serve 85% of the US and complete 1 cleaning per minute. Homeaglow has seen consistent growth over the past three years and has built sustainable profits. They are planning to launch new home service categories in the coming year to eventually become the ”Get Help” button for your home. Homeaglow is looking to hire a Performance Marketing Lead to lead their small and highly effective marketing team.

Meet Homeaglow:

Homeaglow is a marketplace that connects households with home service providers. Today, their sole focus is connecting households with house cleaners. Throughout this next year, they’ll be launching other home service categories, with the goal of ultimately becoming, “help button” for your home.
In 2015, Aaron Cheung founded Homeaglow with Xiao Wei. Their first startup, Homejoy, was also in the home services space, and raised $50m using a growth-at-all-costs strategy. After their business model proved unsustainable, they shut down in 2015.
Homeaglow was built off the back of learnings from Homejoy. From day one they’ve focused on building solid business fundamentals that lead to sustainable long-term growth by focusing on:
  • Building an efficient marketing flywheel that is able to profitably acquire and serve customers
  • Profitable unit economics
  • Maximizing LTV
  • Minimizing CAC

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage acquisition campaigns across various channels
    • Lead paid social, TV, and creative strategy off the bat
    • Eventually manage all of performance marketing
  • Maintain CAC while driving revenue  
    • Scale deeper within paid search and social via creative and audience testing
    • Diversify to new channels
  • Optimize campaign performance with data driven insights 
    • Manage relevant KPIs and metrics

Job requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in Paid Social, SEM, and other major channels
  • Experience managing the creative process
  • Track record of measuring and tracking successful campaign results, for example CAC, LTV, and ROAS
  • Comfort and experience making data driven decisions
  • Experience diversifying marketing channels
  • Experience managing marketing spend across channels
  • Ability to work effectively with a lean team
